Orana Early Support
The Orana Early Support mission is to improve the quality of life for families with newborns and young children, to build a healthier community.
Orana Early Support was set up as a project of Orana in May 2005. We provide a very successful volunteer home visiting service for mothers with newborns and toddlers who have been identified as needing extra assistance. As well as this we undertake Community Development to identify service gaps and co-ordinate capacity building projects to reduce social isolation and promote social inclusion of local residents and families.
If you have a child/children under the age of 3, are lacking social supports and need feel you need some extra assistance on a weekly basis. This service maybe free depending on your circumstances, please contact us for more information. Contact us here.
Do you have 3-4 hours per week to spare? We are always looking for new volunteers to join our service. You will receive full training prior to being allocated to a family. Contact us here
